Omeed Boghraty is an award-winning director/writer based in Los Angeles with a unique style for capturing stories through beautiful, striking visuals. His directorial career began at Esquire Network and E! Entertainment, shooting network promos for series such as Total Bellas, WAGS, This Is Mike Stud, and Eric&Jessie, along with branded content for network partners such as Papa John’s, Samuel Adams, Don Q, and more.
Following his time at Esquire Network and E! Entertainment, in 2019 he wrote and directed two music videos for Rostrum Records artist Lambo Anlo’s album titled Wish You Well. In 2020, he wrote and directed his debut short film, Pool, which garnered festival awards from Roma Short Film Fest, Toronto Indie Filmmakers Festival, Vienna International Film Awards, Tokyo International Short Film Festival, and Florence Film Awards. In the same year, in partnership with Beats By Dre, he directed their branded content film Artist Meets Director exploring the collaborative process between two creators making a music video.
His latest work includes writing and directing a Microsoft Edge commercial which became one of the highest engaging social pieces for the brand’s browser. In addition to his commercial, narrative, music video, and branded content work, he recently signed a shopping agreement with Citizen Skull Production for his debut comedy screenplay which has already garnered festival awards from the Big Apple Film Festival and Vail Film Festival.
He is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Television Academy (Emmys).
