Lindsay is a Hawaii based writer/director whose work reflects the human experience through a female gaze and magical realism. She is often inspired by wild places, and the hodgepodge of Asian and Western environments that raised her.
Drawing upon her background in production design, she creates vivid worlds that remind us to find the magic in everyday life. In 2022, she was featured as a Shiny Awards New Director Role Model, and selected for MiFilm's commercial directing fellowship. In 2024, she was one of six CDDP fellows with the AICP and DGA.
Lindsay is also currently editing her first novel - a YA fantasy inspired by Japanese folklore. When not working, you can probably find her surfing, hanging out with her dog, or wandering around the home decor section of Target.
